Alps 2 Ocean Cycle Trail

The Mt Cook to Omarama section of the Alps to Ocean trail is now open, the fully completed trail of over 300kms is expected to be completed later this year.

For over 300 km and dropping 780m, visitors can experience some of the most unique and stunning scenery New Zealand has to offer. The trail is an easy grade, and offers a pleasing mix of on and off-road trails which link the Southern Alps to the Pacific Ocean. Allow 6 days for the entire ride, or simply try out a day excursion. Whichever option you choose, the Alps 2 Ocean Cycle Trail is sure to be a memorable experience.
